Michigan Destination Weddings-Vintage in Ludington
What a fabulous Saturday we had in Ludington at Lincoln Hills Golf Course, for a very beautiful and detailed vintage wedding. We provided DOC for the Chicago bride and groom, and everything was perfect. The bride and her two aunts had been purchasing, making, and saving all kinds of country/vintage tablecloths, furniture, napkin rings, table numbers, and table seating. The flowers and centerpieces were done by two interior designers from the area. One of the most creative ideas we saw is how to incorporate "fishing" into a wedding. The groom and his family are HUGE fishermen! They created boutonnieres out of fishing lures, added chocolate fish to the wedding cake, incorporated lures in the decor, and my favorite part, the bride carried a canvas clutch with a print of a fish on the front of it! I could go on and on with the details, I just had to share some pictures!

Michigan Weddings-Grand Rapids-Pink, Blue, and Yellow
The lovely Shutterbug by Jen just sent the below pictures of a beautiful wedding we arranged for in July at Kent Country Club. The bride and groom chose black and white as their main color palette with very pale pink, yellow, and blue flowers. The bride carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, baby's breath, and pink and cream garden roses adorned with a vintage brooch. The bridesmaids carried white hydrangea with a cuff of baby's breath, the centerpieces were large and lush arrangements of baby's breath on half the tables, and the other half consisted of medium sized arrangements of hydrangea, stock, and garden roses. Breathtaking!

Michigan-Fall Weddings
This past weekend marked our first Autumn wedding of the season. It was a gorgeous day at Stonewater Country Club where the Chicago bride and groom had both their ceremony and reception. The bride chose a color palette of burnt oranges, burgundy and reds, pops of green, and a beautiful champagne color for her linens. She carried a bouquet of burgundy roses, burnt orange roses, white stephanotis, and hypericum berries. Her bridesmaids carried white calla lilies, and her centerpieces consisted of burgundy and burnt orange calla lilies, antique red hydrangeas, green hydrangeas, burnt orange roses, and green and red hypericum berry, the centerpieces were given away as gifts to some of the guests. The other half of the centerpieces consisted of pillar candles atop of bed of burgundy rose petals.

Michigan Weddings-Bay Harbor-Vintage
We just received some beautiful pictures from another one of our brides that married in Bay Harbor. Her color palette consisted of pink, ivory, and silver and she was going for a very organic, vintage feel with the decor. We used pale pink and ivory garden roses, white hydrangea, and manzanita branches for half of her centerpieces. The other half consisted of pillar candles in cylinder vases accented with jute twine. The escort cards and dessert bar were featured on white-washed vintage window panes, and the bouquets were just lovely with pink and white ranunculus within the garden roses!

Chicago Weddings
My best friend married on Saturday, and as the matron of honor, I got to be a part of the planning process for this fabulous day! Everything was out-of-this-world gorgeous, especially the bride. The absolutely amazing, and nationally recognized, Kenny Kim, sent us a few sneak peek pictures that I just had to share!
