Michigan Weddings-Fallasburg Park
We had our first floral and DOC this past weekend. It was an eclectic design of “country casual.” We loved it, and the bride and her mother were such a joy to work with! The reception was held at Fallasburg Park in Lowell, MI. The bride wore an ivory organza dress, complete with a sweetheart neckline, but on the casual side. The color palette consisted of navy blue and yellow, with touches of green and brown. The park shelter was the perfect place to evoke the country-casual feel. Pic nic tables were adorned with hand made runners in various patterns and colors. The floral arrangements of pale blue hydrangea, yellow snapdragons and tulips, white daisies, billy balls, and ivy were placed in the MOB’s pitcher collection atop a doily, and accented with tea lights. To further the bride’s vision, hand made napkins were wrapped around the silverware and tied off with raffia, as was the mason jar beverage glasses that served double duty as the guests favors. Everything came together perfectly! These are the bouts we constructed, but we can’t wait to get some shots of the room!

Michigan Weddings - Gifts For Your Bridesmaids
Of course your bridesmaids will agree that being asked to share your special day with you is already more of a gift than they could ask for. However, it is customary and fun to give each of your bridesmaids a thank-you present for the heart. Here are some ideas:

The timeless gift of pearl earrings, pearl earrings come in all sizes and color so you can pick the one to match your bridesmaid perfectly!

Although bridesmaids are likely to be more relaxed than the bride and groom, they still have their own share of anxiety and excitement. So giving them a spa basket can help calm them for your special day!

A picture is worth a thousand words - Transform plain bookcloth- or linen-covered albums into one-of-a-kind keepsakes using iron-on transfer paper available from office-supply stores. Or create your own on your personal computer.
