UK Weddings-Most Anticipated Wedding of the Year
The fairytale wedding of 2011 was none other than Miss Catherine Middleton and Prince William of Wales (smile, sigh). Definitely the most anticpated of the year, everyone in the wedding industry to the entertainment industry watched and reported as the big day finally arrived. I thought I'd share one more time all the royal wedding bliss!

Michigan Weddings-Purple Bouquets
I promise this is the last one (I think). The beautiful bride and groom had a lovely day for their Fall wedding at Egypt Valley Country Club, in Ada Michigan. Her bouquet consisted of cream garden roses and clusters of dark purple lisianthus. The bridesmaids bouquets were a cluster of dark purple and light purple hydrangeas. Enjoy the pictures from Wendi Curtis Photography!

DeWitt Bed and Breakfast Weddings-Purple Wedding Decor
Just wanted to share a cool idea that we saw for a wedding we provided Day of Coordination and linens for. We've all seen the guest book with the tree, and each family signs a leaf, this is still one of my favorites, but the below picture shows a different take on the tree. Instead of having a print made, a friend and artist of the bride, painted the tree in a complimenting color for thier wedding. Lovely!

Michigan Up North Weddings-Purple Flowers at Castle Farms
Yup, I know, we've done a TON of purple wedding flowers this year. In fact, most of our brides chose purple as the main color or an accent color for their wedding flowers. This lovely bride was no exception! She wanted to incorporate peonies and lamb's ear, and we added purple hydrangea, scabiosa, and dark purple callas to give it that rich "pop" of color. We also provided a very simple tablescape of purple runners, and four different sized bud vases of purple hydrangea, and lavender and purple stock, it looked very elegant at Castle Farms.
