Falling in Love with Michigan Weddings

There is a romance and magic about getting married in Michigan.  Enjoy this Day After Session captured by Jessica Johnston.  The wedding took place at the Grand Hotel in Mackinaw.  You really could not ask for a prettier backdrop!  The pops of yellow and fuchsia are scrumptious and the colorful pinwheels add the perfect touch!

Fall Bouquets

If you are looking for any inspiration for seasonal floral bouquets, please enjoy the creations below straight from the ele3 Design Board.  The first bouquet features red/yellow mums by the stem with some ever popular billy buttons. The second bouquet features golden mums with red berries and brown angel hair.  Our style is definitely vintage, so we love to utilize vintage costume jewelry like brooches, pearls, handkerchiefs, extc. to add unique personality to our flowers, talk with your florist about using elements that fit your style!

Fall Centerpieces

As you can see by our recent blog posts, ele3 loves Fall!  Those rich colors of burnt orange, golden yellow, firey red, and chocolate are heavenly.  The smell of leaves, sunshine, and cool weather evokes that warm, fuzzy feeling inside each year.  I've got two pictures for you today, one is a picture of Autumn flowers and foliage from a baby shower, and the other is a picture I took from a pontoon boat ride here on my lake.  I just had to share that warm, fuzzy feeling with you all!  If you like what you see, send us an email for more Fall inspiration!

Michigan - Be Inspired

I love Michigan and the change of seasons we have!  Fall is one of my favorites, my street is lined with bright leaves that are showing off their brilliant colors, it is beautiful and quite inspiring.  As a designer you are always being inspired by the elements that surround you.  If you are having a fall themed wedding be inspired by this Autumn season.  Talk to your florist about using flowers  and decor that are in season to match your wedding them and reception, this will also help you to stay on track with your budget.  Our bride below had a lovely October wedding, she decided to accent with brown wooden chairs, white pumpkins, and touches of ivory and peach roses which made this a lovely Fall ceremony.

Roses and Fall Weddings

Roses are a beautiful flower to use in your bouquet, they offer an elegant appeal that goes lovely with any season.  The below pictures are of our 2009 bride, Audrey, who married at Blythefield Country Club on a gorgeous fall day.  ele3 had the pleasure of designing and creating the florals for their wedding.  Audrey's bouquet featured pale pink roses with an ivory ribbon to accent.  The bridesmaids carried ivory rose bouquets wrapped with black satin ribbon which accented the color scheme perfectly.
