Michigan Weddings-2012 Spring Color Trends: Tangerine Tango
Although I have missed the snow this year, I am not a fan of the yucky snow/sleet/rain mix that I am watching out the window as I write. It makes me think of warmer places, and pretty spring flowers. Pantone's Spring 2012 wedding color trends are just the thing to warm up the day. Enjoy the floral favorites in Tangerine Tango!

I know pinterest isn't a new idea, but I've been working with it more these days and I love it! Especially because I can keep all of the beautiful things out there in the great internet world in one place! Here's a few winter wedding ideas from pinterest.

Michigan Weddings-A New Year’s Eve Wedding
What a wonderful and blessed year 2011 was but I know we are all looking forward to the new. I'm totally excited about the below pictures from Green Wedding Shoes! Talk about inspiration for a true New Year's Eve wedding, gold and champagne with pinks and ivories, just gorgeous! Who says you can't have peonies and anemones in December? Why not if you choose the silk route. Taboo? No! Definitely not! If you want to tie the knot on this fabulous holiday, then I say go for it, and definitely go for it with all the sparkle you can muster up!

DeWitt Bed and Breakfast Weddings-Purple Wedding Decor
Just wanted to share a cool idea that we saw for a wedding we provided Day of Coordination and linens for. We've all seen the guest book with the tree, and each family signs a leaf, this is still one of my favorites, but the below picture shows a different take on the tree. Instead of having a print made, a friend and artist of the bride, painted the tree in a complimenting color for thier wedding. Lovely!

Michigan Weddings-Walnut Hills Country Club-Oh the Details!
I couldn't help but post this totally cool contraption made to transport hand made napkin rings by our lovely bride. The ingenious engineers, Mom and Dad, constructed the below beauty!
